Getting around in Paris

By foot
Paris is a very well planned and there is plenty to see in Paris when traveling on foot. be seen on foot. Paris has a well-developed transport network and it's advisable to take advantage of the transport network while traveling in Paris.

Metros & Trams
Paris metro is one of the oldest and one of the best systems in the world. The RER Train
Its a suburban line by which you can travel further outside the city and has several stops in central Paris. Metro ticket can be used on these too, but only in the central part of the city. You will need a separate RER ticket if you are travelling outside central Paris. There are four lines and the ones commonly used are Line C which goes to Orly Airport, Line B to go to Charles De Gaulle or Line A to go to Disneyland.

Buses and Taxi
The bus system is also exceptional and is a good way to know city more. Paris city has almost 15,000 Taxis in Paris and finding one is usually not a problem. Taxi stands are located all over the Paris city, to use the taxi you can hail at them on the street only if the taxi light is bright. If it is dim that means it is occupied.
